The priority area A Sustainable and Resilient Guyana is a call for the UN to support Guyana in addressing the effects of climate change on livelihoods, especially those who are most vulnerable. It focuses on UN System support to strengthening institutional and community resilience in the Caribbean in terms of natural resources management, the protection and sustainable use of terrestrial, coastal and marine ecosystems, renewable energy systems, and inclusive and sustainable societies. Finally, it demands an integrated approach to the sustainable use and management of natural resources.
